The club AGM took place on 5 July 2026, from 11.00am at Old Shildon Club.
Present: Russ Henderson, Harry Tupling, Kath Chambers
Apologies: Sean Dunn, Ray Meek, Luke Wearmouth
- Members were thanked for their attendance.
- Luke indicated his willingness to step down fromn the committee due to family commitments.
- The chair expressed the committee’s gratitude to Luke for his contribution to the club and wished him well.
- Remaining committee members agreed to remain in post while also inviting new members to step forward.
- Liz Gleave offered to become Treasurer, which was accepted.
- There was a brief discussion of the club accounts in with Russ disclosed that the finances were relatively unchanged from the beginning of last season. He also informed the meeting that the bus company has indicated there will be a price increase for coach hire for home games.
- It was agreed that the committee would meet on a monthly basis at a venue to be decided nearer the time of each meeting.
- A deadline for Memberships for the coming season was agreed of September 5th. Forms have been made available via the club website and from Russell and can be returned to any commitee member.
- Ticketing for away games will remain the same unless the club and/or Premier League make any rule changes.
- It was agreed that the Away Tickets WhatsApp group will be for away ticket, travel and relevant branch information only. Any other messages will be removed.
- During the open floor, Dean Taylor and his wife offered to help organise events for the club.
- The meeting was brought to a close at approximately 12.15pm.
